Superhero Support began when a child struggling with life found hope in comic books. Years later, that child became a father — and watched his own son fall in love with superhero stories, first through pictures, then through words.
Inspired by these moments, founder Brian Korzec launched Superhero Support in 2015 as a way to bring joy, healing, and literacy to children — dressed as the Green Arrow.
Today, with over 30 volunteers, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit uplifts hospitals, libraries, fire companies, and more. They don’t just cosplay — they causeplay: bringing characters to life in support of real community causes.
